This is a handmade, hand painted stained glass hanging Christmas decoration with a bird and flower design in amber yellow glass. Designed and made by Jill Brailsford. Each piece of glass was selected, cut to shape, painted and fired twice, leaded and soldered together, cemented and cleaned. This process dates back to the 11th century.
